俺对那个Hyvent alpha shell不了解.
HYVENT是The North Face自己的防水透气面料.从介绍看,这件衣服是压胶的.
如果是Gore-tex面料三层压胶(Pro-shell), 这样牌子的原价在$400-500.
如果是Gore-tex Paclite Shell,两层压胶,比较薄,$170还可以,on-sale $120能拿下.

Waterproof Rating: 75 PSI avg, 75 avg PSI after 20 launderings
Usage: Summit Series
HyVent Alpha is a laminate PU layer that can be constructed in both 2 layer
and 3 layer forms. HyVent Alpha in 2 layer form includes a drop liner, while
3 layer fabric includes a tricot mesh backer bonded to the HVA fabric for
increased durability and comfort. A laminate (HV Alpha) differs from a
coating (HV and HVDT) in that a laminate is a separately manufactured layer
or sheet of Polyurethane which is adhered to a fabric layer. A coating is
created when liquid PU material is spread over a fabric and allowed to dry.
Because Alpha is a laminate, durability is at a maximum because the
waterproof characteristics do not diminish with increased laundering cycles.
Laminates are manufactured to precise performance specifications, while
coatings are more difficult to control especially when combined with bulky (
high denier) or textured yarns. HyVent Alpha is constructed to be actively
breathable, especially when compared to regular HyVent which requires water
(perspiration) to condense before passing through.

看来Hyvent Alpha系列应该算TNF的高端产品.
从介绍看也有三层压胶的.
从网站看,只有大号的.
这个价钱应该不亏,就是偏门了一点.

220拿下是deal.
Gore-tex Pro-shell(三层),summit 系列,很不错了.
