I just hastily bought this D700 here from Dan Starr, and while there is
absolutely nothing wrong with it. I have decided to hold out for the D800
since most of my work is commercial and my hobby is landscape. I have priced
it at a loss to me at $1775 since I think I may have paid too much for it
based on the fact that it has 81k clicks. But do not let that discourage you
, it is in Excellent condition. The only very minor exterior points are that
the two rubber grommets on the underside of the camera (where the grip
attaches) are missing, and there are two scratches on the underside, below
where your right palm would rest, about 1/3" long each. Trivial blemishes
for all practical purposes, particularly at this price. See the original
