Mother's Day
I come along
across the horizon
tightly closed the eyes
seedless grapes in the afternoon sun
Pick you up
tramp me down
on the endless road
with speeches unheard
what a mindless world
Give me a sign
sing me a song
zoom in the font
nothing but my right foot
In my sandals all the peddles
In the sky all the flies
I swear, I pray
for all the days
you wake up and say hey
let's hide in the hay
sunflower seeds, our eternity bed
I come along
across the horizon
tightly closed the eyes
seedless grapes in the afternoon sun
Pick you up
tramp me down
on the endless road
with speeches unheard
what a mindless world
Give me a sign
sing me a song
zoom in the font
nothing but my right foot
In my sandals all the peddles
In the sky all the flies
I swear, I pray
for all the days
you wake up and say hey
let's hide in the hay
sunflower seeds, our eternity bed
