妈妈入关时I94表忘填生日了，是移民官补填的。但问题是移民官把妈妈生日填错了，

I have been working in the US for serveral years with H1B Visa.
Last June, I moved to Canada with work permit. According to
the US tax regulations, I am a US resident for tax purpose
(days_of_2010 + days_of_2009 / 3 + days_of_2008 / 6) > 183.
Do I need to report my Canadian income to US? If I do need to,
how can I use the Canada - US treaty exemption to avoid
double taxation since I have paid the Canadian tax for my Canadian
income?
Also I have just bought a turbox tax to file the US tax.
Not sure whether it will fit my case or not.
In the other way, am I a Canadian resident for tax purpose?
Do I need to report my previous US income to Canada?
Does anyone have the same experience as me?

I have installed MS Office 2007 with Wine in Ubuntu and it works fine.
However, my office version was only allowed for 2 installs so that I can't
reinstall it next time when I upgrade to a new ubuntu release (fresh install
ubuntu). Is it possible to migrate the current installed Wine programs into

配合别的lib使用，得看一下兼容性，最保险是用内置json（老版本的simplejson），
或者看那些lib的推荐
自己写的话就无所谓了，simplejson和ujson都行

I would like to. However, there is no program in Linux that is even close to
be as good as MS Office. At least OpenOffice is not the one.

simpleJSON我们现在就在用，因为用到大量JSON 转换，速度还是不够。

Here is a trick using wine:
When installing new software,
WINEPREFIX=/path-to-software/ wine setup/install/other.exe
When using installed software,
WINEPREFIX=/path-to-software/ wine XXX.exe
For each software, create a different WINEPREFIX, later all you need to do
is backup this folder and copy it back to new installed linux system.

I am running a low-end machine, so I don't want to run VM 24/7 on my
computer.
Besides, I only need to run Office, Photoshop, and Acrobat occasionally.
That's the top 3 Windows software that can't find replacement in Linux.
I don't get used to suspend a VM. But it may be an option for me.
Anyhow, is there any solution for my initial question?

There are still many more softwares no substitute in linux, like steam....
I don't believe you can wine Acrobat. Wine office also have a lot of issues.

I don't believe you can wine Acrobat. Wine office also have a lot of issues.

acrobat reader has the linux version. Actually evince can
handle pdf pretty well now. Poor man's photoshop is GIMP.
It is office that does not have good one in linux.
OpenOffice still not very handy.

I thought Wine tried to mimic Windows ENV including the registry. Without
reinstall the program, how do you create the registry entry for the program
in
a newly installed system?

I need to create fillable pdf files time to time. So I need Acrobat, not the
reader. PDF-XChange Viewer can easily installed in Wine and can provide a
"Typewriter" function on PDF files. But it still can't compete with Acrobat.
I also use GIMP, not as good as Photoshop.

So far, except Office VBA not running on top of Wine, I satisfy with the
performance of Word and Excel.

folder, it has nothing to do with linux system.
Without WINEPREFIX, all the settings should be in ~/.wine which you need to
copy to new linux system, same logic as above but WINEPREFIX just make
everything more straigtforward.

is how to create the program list so that I can launch a wine program by
pressing Ubuntu button->wine->Program->Microsoft Office->Word...
