I bought mutal fund for a while and I don't like it cuase after one sell you
need to waite for three months to buy the same thing again.
Hou about ETF? It there a three months gap as well?
2nd question is about the expense, is it certain percent of the asset like
mutal fund or certain dollar per trade like stock?

Well, having some restriction so you trade less is actually for
your own good.
For the sake of your question, yes, you can trade ETF as often
as you like, even on the same day.

For the expense question -
1. ETFs have management fees too (based on asset, recurring), but usually a
lot less than a typical mutual fund's fees.
2. However, you do incur trading cost (one time) when buy/sell ETFs (like
stocks).
3. Mutual funds have trading costs too, it's called load (asset based, one-
time). Pay attention to class A, class B, etc. as they indicate different
ways load fees are charged.
It's good you are paying attention to the expenses, as in the long term, it
could eat a lot of your returns.

难道wash rule在etf不适用吗？不过etf选择多，你总是可以买卖两个实际上一样的etf
，比如ivv和 spy。
