今天又收到他家拒信的解釋信。看來我的感受不是個案，有不少人可能回信把他家
chair給罵了一通，他家今天悔改了，給大家道歉。信文如下啊：
I’m writing again to apologize for my accidental mistake in the subject
heading of my previous message (below) about your application for the xxx
position at XXU. I’ve heard from a few of you politely suggesting I
consider changing the subject line of the message, and of course you’re
absolutely right, and I want to apologize to everyone who received it. The
heading was certainly misleading and may well have made the message even
more disappointing than it already was, and that was certainly not the
intent. I was trying to word the message as carefully as possible to reduce
that disappointment, and trying to let a large number of people know about
our decisions as soon as possible, but I totally missed the subject line,
which was there from another message but did not appear on the screen I was
editing.
I’m very sorry this happened, and we do wish you the best in your search
for another suitable position.
