不知道会不会对大家有帮助，以往的各种问题总是在网上得到大家的帮助，
这次没有找到太合适的解释，差点儿走晚路，在这儿分享一下自己的经历。
父母来美国好几次了，这次打算他们在这个多玩几天，暑假可以带他们出去
转转就申请了延期，结果收到要求补交材料的通知。
主要的要求是
must establish that he or she has a residence abroad which he or she has no
intention of abandoning. Submit a statement to establish that you have a
residence outside of United States where you intend to reside at the
expiration of your B-2 visa. Please include in your statement the physical
address of your residence abroad.
主要的麻烦是这些材料我们手上没有原件，而且不知道应该交什么才合适，再
有就是信中有这样一条。
All copies must be clear and legible. If you submit a document in a
language other than English, it must be accompanied by a complete word-for-
word English translation. The translator must specifically certify that the
translation is complete and accurate and that he or she is competent to
translate from the foreign language into English.
看到这一段我的第一反应是在国内翻译，公证之后的文件才有效。后来明白了
其实只要自己翻译一切文件就好了，重要的是这个翻译人要在公证员面前宣誓
自己有翻译的能力，而且翻译准确。
这样一来事情就简单多了，把扫描的文件传过来之后，按网上的模板翻译好，
在自己的一个一户行就把所要的公证做了（notary）。
最不可理解的是上周三上传了所有文件（房产合同等，户口本，身份证，每个
月打出退休金的折子，几张存单，对这些文件的解释，还有在银行做的公证书）
周六就收到了移发局的信，延期通过了，信发出的时间是周三。
