My major is very engineering, very practical. The Masters' salary is
just <10k less than PhDs'. -- I should not pay much attention to salary.
But this is the truth. Our salary for entry level is not bad, about 70k
for a master. I am quite independant -- my trips to easter coast were
done by myself, round trip about 2kmiles. Everything was arranged by
my self. --of course I also got a lot of help from friends, including
new friends I made during interns. I am easy going, optimistic (most

这个姐姐,我的意见是,不拿学位并不可惜,尤其是工程类的phd,不拿也罢.
别人怎么看不重要的,以后你也未必会后悔没拿phd.
但是,你和你的那个他的关系一定要考虑清楚啊,我觉得听起来并不是很可靠的样子.
你可以为了你自己放弃phd,但绝对不要为了一份一点把握也没有的感情啊.

Sorry I deleted my own posts to avoide to be rated. Too many
personal stuffs that I only want to share with friends here,
not everywhere.
The last whole year I was in really bad situation. I struggled
a lot. Getting up really early everyday, and going back home
very late, but almost did nothing. This relationship, as Harbiner
said, is even not started yet. But, no one else I want to know
before there is a result. If I stay on my PhD, things won't
change for 2 or 3 years. But, I want to solve thi

和他的故事不愿将太多, 的确还没有一个真正的开始. 三年前他说故事就要
可以翻页了但我却去了那么远的地方, 从此很少有相聚的时间,--平时上课,
两个暑假全部做了实习, 一个寒假回家探望父母, .... 没有相处怎么可以
相知相爱相惜呢....
一直不肯放手是因为一直有着联系, 他还是一个人,再就是我们之间的时间
和距离的障碍从没有去掉过. 我想知道去掉了会怎么样... 心里有着一个人,
便总是不可能再去试着交往另外一个人的, 顶多有一瞬间的心思活动

You have to think more clearly about the worst situation
if you make your decision to go with him. And if you are fully prepared
