very nice reading! more fast-moving than hp5.;P
ginny is like a younger and less funny fred/george in female form...maybe harr
y needs such a vivacious lover to cheer him up...;P
about dumbldore's death, i have a guess that when he pleaded snape by calling
his name in a weak voice, he was pleading snape to kill him to win dark lord's
trust. i still think snape is on the good side...

I am totally with you there. I didn't believe for one sec that Dumbledore woul
d actually plead for his life. He gotta be pleading Snape to do the killing. C
onsidering that Hagrid overheard a heated argument btw the 2 earlier, I bet it
was the time that Dumbledore first requested Snape to take up the hard role o
f the traitor, muderer.
Wondering who R.A.B. could be. I have a slight suspiction about the owners of
the fishy store Borgin and Burkes, who share a keen interest in dark objects w

I think another reason Dumbledore pleaded Snape is to ask him to take up
Draco's task.
Other death eaters were forcing Draco to do the killing, but apparently Draco
didn't want to. It is also because Narcissa Malfoy asked Snape to make the
unbreakable vow.
IMHO, R.A.B is Regulus Black, Sirius's brother, who was a death eater.
In book 5 Sirius said his brother was dead. But maybe he was wrong...

Same feeling here, Snape was following Dumbledore's orders against his
own will. That's probably what he meant by "I am *NOT* a coward".
However I'm still surprised that Dumbledore would wish to die. It
seems he planned (or prepared for?) his own death from the beginning
of the book... Why was he "much less valuable" than Harry? Sounds
rubbish to me.
But over all, a fun read... and yes, much better than book 5! :)

i have been thinking about this, that is, who r.a.b is. and i think your
guess is a good one. i don't know if regulus was on the good side or he
was on the bad side but wanted to back out. i'm thinking, from his name, that
he couldnt be all that bad, even though he was a slytherin. his name regulus
is a star of the leo constellation, which would have put him in the gryffindor
house. nevertheless, he was a slytherin. still, i think there's a connection
here, one that hints he might not be so much

I have to agree with you after some research/thoughts. A locket (unopenable) w
as actually mentioned in book5 when Harry etc were cleaning up the Black house
. If that's THE missing one, the inheritance Harry received from Sirius might
prove to be of more value than Harry gave it credit for. And it was also menti
oned in HBP that Regulus did survive a few days before meeting his ultimate do
om, which gave him enough time to arrange a bit of revenge before hand. But it
sure is interesting how a y

he was a death eater, then 'he got in so far, then panicked about what he
was being asked to do, and tried to back out. Well, you don't just hand in
your resignation to Voldemont. It's a lifetime of service or death' (sirius)
And he was killed by Voldemont sometime during 1980 (the year the prophecy
was mad and Harry was born)

hmm... just, so detached to these things, ya know? age is so definative
to one's opinion about candles and roses... what can a pair of kids do

okay, okay, i know the book is not about that -- was not about that.
one just can't find the time to actually read this and enjoy it. i'm
