The author assumes the "Dead Star?", Alpha Cen, Pluto, Saturn, the moon, and
the earth are on the same straight line, which is ridiculous.
Looks like Liu's mind is a linear mind.

他并没有说在一条直线上吧，要知道辐射是向四面八方传播的，所以可以到达任何地方。
比不一定非得在一条直线上。

Isn't it a reasonable assumption that when the light of the dead star
comes to the solar system, the above mentioned planets are on the same side
of earth. They need not to be in the same line.
I didn't see people are similarly keen to debug foreign SFs.

ok, 辐射是向四面八方传播的，that's right
but for such a long distance, the 辐射 should be treated as parallel. that
makes difference...don't know how much though...
