Well, remember that your system tray displays time, which uses fonts, too :-)
So changing your system font will make your systray icons larger
(interpolated image, low quality).
The easiest thing to do, if you want slightly larger system fonts, but not
too big, is to use Display Properties->Appearance->Icon Font, you will find
all sorts of font setting there. "Icon Font" is also the font you see when
you open Explorer. You can also use font DPI setting if you are using Win9x,
but I don't recomme
