女儿3岁多一些，刚开始上一半中文老师一半英文老师的幼儿园，感觉英文发音进步很
大，但是单词基本没学会，也没见她用过，听力也不太行。有什么动画片和合适的玩具
可以教小孩英文的？女儿有点散光，以前一直不怎么让她看屏幕，现在大一些应该看半
个小时问题不大。

I use TD. I did not see any interest charged yet, and I did not use margin.
so what I guess is, if you don't use margin, and you have cash to cover,
then there is no interest.
did I miss sth?

just called TD.
If the buy to cover price is lower than short price, then there is no
interest;
if higher, the difference (e.g. $100 ) will be reduced from margin account;
if your money market account has enough cash to cover the difference $100,
then no interest; if there is not enough cash, then interest 10% annual rate
would be applied.
of course, the commision fee $9.99 still apply twice.

short interest虽然叫interest，但并不是利息，是short股票的数量或者比例。
Short interest is the total number of shares of a particular stock that have been sold short by investors but have not yet been covered or closed out. This can be expressed as a number or as a percentage.

原则上面来讲，是需要的。但是，对于一般的小散户而言，一般的零售broker或者
discount broker都免除了这个利息。
这个取决于你用的那个broker。
