It is the monthly rollover that kills it.
The front month is always cheaper than the next month for the future. When
USO rollover happens at the end of each month, you will get less. Just
imagine that happens month after month, that is on top of the oil price drop.
The commodity cycle usually is pretty long. Just look at the time frame
between last peak and the current peak. Don't expect magic happen overnight.
