it is not related to VISA type. It is related to if you are a resident or no
n-resident alien in tax return.

I got the same answer from 1800XXXX phone today. Once you are H1, all of
your income is taxable. That is confusing me.

It is true that you have to pay income tax if you are H1 Visa holder. The
issue is that whether you filed your return as resident or resident alien.
In addition, if you filed jointly with your spouse, both of you have to have
SSN to be eligible for the stimulus rebate.
