Key Responsibilities:
Technology leadership
• Evaluate existing UI design and analysis implementation used
within the portal and make recommendations to address reliability,
scalability and performance.
• Responsible for architecting and implementing prototype according
to design specification.
• Enhance web server and site technical performance.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple projects and team of front
end developers
Knowledge/Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in web/portal applications
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a lead role
• Must have 2+ year of coding experience in Struts2 or Webwork2 or
SpringMVC.
• Must have 2+ year of coding experience in jQuery or Mootools or
Prototype or ExtJS or YUI
• Advance knowledge of Adobe Flash and JS
• Knowledge in Tiles2 is a big plus
• Knowledge in Hibernate or Spring or JSTL or OGNL or Browser
Compatibility or RMI or Portal/Portlet is a plus
• Strong creative skills and ability to generate ideas and designs
• Have both front-end & Java related backend development experience
Distribution Skills:
• Responsible for creation and design of portal site according to
specification.
• Design and develop the institutional website ensuring strong
reliability, scalability and performance
• Responsible for integrating the data service layer with the
company website.
• Develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages
with more advanced UI and features.
• Assist the client in the planning of overall company strategy
regarding portal development
