如何在supporting material的公式编号前面加一个字母"S"? 比如：
y=ax+b......(S1)
y=cx+d......(S2)

the following is the quick solution:
\numberwithin{equation}{section}
if you really want to use the letter 'S' instead of the section number
appended by a dot, you can do the following instead:
\renewcommand{\theequation}{S\arabic{equation}}
btw, you may also want to reset the equation counter in your supporting
material:
\setcounter{equation}{0}

菜鸟问个问题，我希望在数字的前面加上显示label的名字
比如：
\begin{equation}
y = a+b \label{myEq}
\end{equation}
希望能看到的是:
y=a+b myEq 1
1 可以有括号, i.e., (myEq 1), myEq(1) 都可以，关键是要把myEq显示出来？
有办法不？这个主要是为我自己找公式的时候提供方便，thx！

这个问题搞定了
\newcommand{\eqlabel}[1]{\tag{#1}\label{#1}}
这样用\eqlabel instead of \label就行了
这样写的时候可以买pdf/dvi里面看到公式的label，方便我查找
如果要正式成文了就
把上面的那句替换成
\newcommand{\eqlabel}[1]{\label{#1}}
