Environment: Win2003, SQL2005,
Process: Load .xls by using SSIS Wizard (DB->Task->Import Data)
.xls File Structure: (col1, col2, ..., col8, col9)
Columns: col8:numbers; col9: numbers
First Line: xx, xx,... xx, xx (to set col8, col9 character)
Loading result:col1, col2, ... col8 (nvarchar), col9(float)
Question: Why col8 nvarchar while col9 float?

想编方程组，老是报错，错误是\begin{align} allowed only in paragraph
mode...
怎么回事呢？是不是amsmath这个package的问题呢？谢谢！

Possible answer:
SQL define the col format by the first 8 rows, and the format with most
number of cells will be the format for that column.

First, make sure you used
\usepackage{amsmath,amssymb}
Then make sure the align environtment is not in math mode, i.e., in cannot a
ppear within
\begin{equation}
\end{equation}
or
\[
\]
or
$$
$$.
Align by itself is display mode.

this can be controlled if you go to column settings when you setup the
import

搞定啦，呵呵，看来不同版本规定不一定，有的要加$sign有的不需要，唉，麻烦！
