前不久NIW 140已批。想毕大家都知道这个是EB-2，想要递485还
不知等到何时。在美国做博后两年多了，自知不是做学术的料，一心想到公司发展。但
是现在又不好找工作，更不
用提还有身份问题。所以有人建议我可以先回国找一个公司干着，攒些工作经验，等有
了绿卡再回来。自己心理没底，
不知道这样做是否可行，在国内递485 (听说是另一种表格)会不会有问题。或者哪位有
这方面经验的，给出出主意。我本人
是有机化学Ph.D.，在美国这边做过一些生化方面的课题，将来想打算进药物公司。

Unless you can ganrantee to have a similar job offer by the time when you
are interviewed by US consulate in China, your 485 will be hard to be
approved in China.

是可行的.
在美你要交485做身份调整,对象是移民局的IO,一般不要面试;
而要是在中国,你要去广州领事馆申请移民签证.你要面对签证官的问题;
从法理上讲,你目前从事的工作(无论在美国或在中国),与你NIW申请上讲的工作没有直
接关系;如果你干类似的,又在中国,你面试,比较好说服签证官.
有这样的客户先回去,然后去面试拿签证,再入美正式成为永久居民.

NIW is based on national interest waive. If you are in China, and when you
are interviewed in consulate, how can you convince visa officer that you
will contribute to US without a job offer that is the same field when you
apply for NIW? No one will be convince that you will keep contribute to US
national interest without a job offer at hand? Right?
Theoretically speaking, yes, you still have chance to get it approved.
Practically speaking, if you don't have a job offer letter at hand by the
