我以前一直用winedt,现在想用vim,但不知有什么好的方法可以和latex连用。我其实用
vim也就是为了写paper.对linux不太懂得说。

能有vim好用吗？我就是觉得vim编辑比winedt方便多了才想用它的？什么平台我倒不在乎

you can install a plugin for latex for vim
it is called latex-suit for vim or someting like this
google it.

nothing special.vim is great under unix. Well,i dont like gvim under windows.
I prefer ultraedit.

最好用的TeX editor: kile
最强大的TeX editor: emacs + auctex
vim介于两者中间，如果你对vim/emacs都不熟悉的话我建议你不如干脆
直接学emacs。

kile has no windows version.
Need cygwin or similar stuff.
emacs is definitely less convenient than vim.

For C/C++, the editor coming with visual studio pro 2003 is already good
enough.
it does not support Latex.

for some small C/C++ code, I prefer to use this small IDE,
which can make cl.exe a button on the user-defined tool bar,
so is running a .exe file. This way, I get only a .obj and
a .exe files instead of many project files in VC. For me, editplus
provides a obviously cleaner solution for small c/c++ code.
You can combine Latex with Editplus, I am using Editplus's
IDE to edit and compile a tex file, and use a user-defined
button to open .ps file.

I hate clicking buttons.
I prefer doing everything by typing.
Editplus, winedt, Texicenter, etc. are just not my type.

Any software can do there job.PPl using different things is just for the
convinence. For editor,vim is the king under unix,i use ultraedit under
windows is just because it can handle anything i need and i have used it for 8
years. For developer,visual studio for c/c++ and ...,komodo for perl/tcl/tk,
xmlspy for xml,...Not because they are the best one,but they are almost the
best one for debugging.

you can surely use key-boards. that's just easy in Editplus.
it even spt regexp, hehe...

latex-suite is super stupid ,
auctex.vim is a little bit better,
but I found auto-complete environments more useful
