when I ftp a remote machine
how can i download a directory(such as mydir ) and its
included files to my local machine?
mget mydir only dl the files not the name of that dir.

did you mean that general ftp command can't do that?
btw i am under win os.

under windows? why not try wu-ftp or any windows ftp client?

certainly, I can use those gui ftp, I just want to know
the command under console.
