PC and Solaris are connect with a D-link router. And both are set as DHCP for
network. PC works fine and can ping solaris IP. However, Solaris can not ping
PC IP although it can access internet. Does anybody know what is going on? And
If I chose DHCP for solaris config, I can not change my host name which is
preset to unknow. But if I give it a fixed IP. I can change it. It is so
wierd. I would appreciate your kind helps very much.

Thanks a lot. I just solved the ping problems. Would you also please also let
me now how to change the host name in solaris9. Everytime, it goes to
"unknown" if I use DHCP setting. I would appreciate your kind helps very much.
