Hi there,
I heard we can find a lot of useful from comp.unix.solaris USENET group.
But could anybody tell me how to use it such as how to subscribe, how to
search it
(is it like a website/mail list) etc?

Ask people the address of your local news server (such as your university)
and use nntp clients such as tin, mutt, pine, or thunderbird to subscribe
the newsgroups.
