My comment:
(a) Dr Yun Yet-sen, as well as KMT, is such a liar. There have been rumors/
reports that came up every now and then that said he was born in Hawaii. His
childhood stories invented to deify him, in Canton, turn out to be lies,
too.
I have never liked him.
(b) 普纳荷中学的欧胡学院
(i) Punahou School: founded in 1841 to serve children of Congregational
missionaries, but now co-educational and non-sectarian; in this year:
enrollment 3,760 students (K-12) , tuition: $17,800 (all grade levels).

(ii) The History of Punahou
http://www.punahou.edu/page.cfm?p=1788
Quote:
"Punahou School was built on the lands of Ka Punahou, named for the fabled
natural spring discovered centuries ago under a hala tree. The spring still
flows today, at the heart of Punahou's campus under the Thurston Memorial
Chapel, and its waters not only form the iconic Lily Pond, but also are used
to irrigate portions of the campus.
"1859: The school's name officially became Oahu College
"1934: The school's name was officially changed from Oahu College back to
Punahou School.
Note: Pandanus tectorius
