got a box with winxp profesional, 32bit, I found
the box has 8G physical memory, 4 processors, however
only 2G physical memory are used, anyway to expand
memory usage? I understand there is a /3G switch in
boot.ini I can use...

/3G only changes the size of virtual address space (from 2G to 3G) for each
application. It does not change the amount of physical memory the system can
support. With 32-bit OS, you only support up to 2^32 = 4G physical memory.
So you need to install a 64-bit OS.
