你enable 了 frontpage extension 吗？
mswc 看上去像是front page extension 的冬冬。

when you migrate from windows 2000 to windows 2003 .net server, some of files
are not supported. This error message basically says that there is a
mswc.counters.dll is not registered or not found. I found the link below for
you. http://www.netcoole.com/asp2aspx/vbhtml/aspinstallable.htm
by that link, i think there are changes happening to the counter dll. you may
want to try nce.mswc.Counters out.

he/she's still using asp and not migrating to asp.net. those server controls
are for asp.net
