I think the real problem might be you are not really following what they say
so you don't have anything to say.
I just moved to a new feature team a short time ago. I was playing dumb in our
feature meeting, spec review, etc. I have a weird feeling that I know what
they are talking about, but not exactly. I talked to my manager about my
concern and he told me that it is common because I'm not familiar with the
feature yet. And the fix he prescribed to me is to attend more meetings and
listen mor
so you don't have anything to say.
