I hate bar hopping too, because 1) I never enjoy drinking and 2) I hate
shouting over loud music. I tried to follow the crowd in the beginning, but I
quickly realized that I was comprising my own happiness for nothing. Even
when I went out with my colleagues, I never really enjoyed myself. And
believe me it always showed through and your colleagues would notice. So why
bother? Now I only go to the events I am interested in and I don't care what
others may think. Do whatever you feel most c
