打算圣诞节期间回国，突然意识到因为自己是contractor，雇主跟实际工作单位不同，
担心h1b返签有麻烦。请有经验的同学不吝赐教！谢谢

回美证？我是刚毕业的h1b，离绿卡还很遥远。。

you will be alright.just be honest in your interview. they can find all the
information about your employer in their computer. btw, it will be good if
you can get a letter from both your employer and client.
I went back China last Christmas, and the interview was quick:)

非常感谢你的回复！你的经历让我有了很大的信心。也非常感谢你的建议，关于client的support letter，必须是公司那种正式的吗？我觉着让我工作中的manager写封信应该没问题，但是不一定能拿到公司的正式的。

It doesn't need to be very formal.
name, job title, job function....
you can draft a letter for your boss, and let him sign and date, better include his title and contact info (just like how everyone signs at the bottom of their email).

client的support letter，必须是公司那种正式的吗？我觉着让我工作中的manager写
封信应该没问题，但是不一定能拿到公司的正式的。
