Design responsibility for algorithms associated with coding and viterbi
detection for read channels in hard disk drives. Candidate should be able to
work closely with architects to implement new algorithms and meet area/high
-speed/low-power targets for digital circuits of read channel ICs. Current
knowledge of disk drive operation including heads/media waveforms necessary
for perpendicular and longitudinal recording is a plus.
