FacultyEB2和普通的EB2没有任何区别
到递交485,总还得3年，所以140啥时候批无所谓

EB2岂止等三年,如果没有奇迹,现在至少要等7,8年.期间无法交485,配偶无法工作,就是
配偶有H1,6年H1也不够等的.移民板前几个星期吵翻了天,现在中国人印度人批了的Eb2
140 根本是废纸了.

你自己是可以随便续了，你家另一位怎么办？如果配偶是h1，但是办不成绿卡，六年一

140批了你的pd就有了，直接换工作吧，反正等你下一个140批了你也不会排到，现在换
工作
并不会让你晚拿绿卡，而且反正485也没交，也没有损失了什么benefits

i heard that (please double check with some professionals or the university
HR)
first, h4 and h1 do not accumulate. that is, the partner can transfer to h4
even his/her h1 goes beyond 6 years.
second, h1 can be extended once your greencard process reaches a certain sta
ge.

h1 wiht approved 140 can extend h1 year by year. I suppose h4 can extend
with h1 too. but is your spouse is on h1, he/she is on his/her own in green
card application. if your spouse's 6 years run out and he/she has no valid
140, the only choice is h4. Some people may choose to do so, but we will
definitlly go back to china in this situation.

job. You need redo 140 with your new job.

If you are a faculty member, you should try Eb1b, not Eb2. Since you were
successful in competing for your current position among a number of
applicants (the search committee chair should have the information and you
can ask for the record of deselection), it is in fact an evidence that you
are an outstanding professor/researcher.
