心中有些疑问，所以特在此版求助
我的婆婆几个月前刚刚做心脏支架手术，她一共装了两个药物支架。最近她想要来美国
看看，可是我比较担心，所以特此问问各位专家我的担心是不是没有必要
第一，冠心病刚做完手术不到半年，能不能做这么长时间的飞机。有没有什么危险？
第二，我婆婆也快70了，身体一直不是特别好。高血压，高血脂，还有关节炎。6年之

请多指教。
问题一：为什么firefox在ubuntu下面看好像清晰程度比较差，而且好像没有在winxp下
面排列的整齐？
问题二：好多安装的程序找不到。比如我玩ubuntu的时候把network manager不知道搞
到哪里去了。从snaptic里面看还是有，没有丢掉。但是我找不到。另外我安装了一个
统计软件叫R。安装完成以后也没有像winxp那样在program里面加一个。而是放到了一
个bin folder去了。好像还是和乱七八糟其他各种各样的bin文件放在一起。请问这样
正常嘛？怎么样才能想windows哪样把安装好的软件or shortcut都放在一个地方，用的
时候方便。多谢了。

hi, thakns for the help. I tried to add a launcher. but it does not work. it
is a shell file. when i clicked in the "windows explorer", I have to select
"run in terminal" for it to work. i do not know what is the command of that.
simply write "usr/bin/R" for the launcher won't work. thanks for the time.

look the same. i would prefer that each has its own icon like in windows.
do i have to find a picture for each of them and then associate the launcher

i actually found a microsoft font package in synaptic, and now has times new
roman installed. now it looks much better. thanks for all the help.

My main target is R. It is limited by memory under windows, so i cannot
handle very large data. i heard this limit is gone in unix or linux. is that
true? what is the largest dataset you played with under ubuntu?
it seems that i have to use eclipse or tinn-r. but it is okay.

好像是有这个问题，据说windows不能用4G以上内存。 我用的是学校cluster上的R，所
以不需要图形界面，8G以上的内存也用过。
