虽然是NIW，但是收到485 RFE要提供employment verification letter. 我是
permanent position,也没有换过工作。所以单位可以开给我一封信说是permanent
position. 但是USCIS要求 “The letter should also indicate whether the terms
and conditions of your employment-based visa petition (or labor
certification) continue to exist"，这个是不是在employment verification
letter 说他们会继续雇佣我就好了，还是要说一些好话表示我满足NIW要求？

显然ＵSCIS搞错了，这帮猪吃的。你应该回答你现在还在NIW申请的相同领域工作即可。
顺便问一下。以前有过RFE么？ TSC？

多谢答复！所以这种RFE一般是给PERM-based的人吗？那么我只要回信说我stay with
same employer and in the same research field就行了是吧? 我也纳闷NIW跟我的
employer有什么关系，但是还是准备搞一封employment verification letter给他们。
I140没有RFE, NSC.

I saw on some website somebody said NSC sent many NIW RFE in such case.
We don't know if they made mistakes or they just did it on purpose.

Did you make a SR recently? I am wondering what triggers your 485 RFE? It
sounds to me that, they just randomly give you an RFE from template without
even checking out that you are NIW case, not PERM case.

I did ask the congressman office to inquire my case status,and I also
suspect that it triggered RFE.

That is probably explaining it. They were pushed by congressman. So they
just give you at least something to show a response.
