there are some videos on youtube, use your ipad to watch them and make your
own conclusions. personally, i don't see big difference. i remember in
Linus's review, it's grey scales is close to 10-bit screen.

so for the text size setting, are you using 200% or what?
my concern is that when I'm running bootcamp win7 on 15in RMBP,
I can have great quality of display when setting the text size to 200%,
but then many legacy programs will have compatibility issues
(parts of contents are not displayed due to improper rendering).
Changing it to 100% and no such problem exists,
but the font size is dead small I can barely live with it.
How does windows 8.1 solve such problem? Thx!

Win8.1 好像自动改变显示大小，browser, excel 都比2160的大，Lightroom 5也没问
题。一个股票软件是字体没有放大，不过可能背景色和字体色设置的比较好，我也看的
清楚，不是非常用力。

browser, excel, lr5我在rmbp上用win7+200%字体大小也没问题
主要就是一些老程序的兼容性问题
设置成200%之后界面的有些部分,尤其是按钮,会显示不出来,很让人抓狂...
以至于遇到这种程序必须要用时,只能设置回100%,然后再设回来
按照你的说法,win8.1对这种程序会自动应用100%的字体大小吗?
