宝宝4岁了，在上pre-school。
今天早上告诉我：妈妈，老师问我where are you from? 我然后回答：Illinois，
Chicago”
我-----宝宝回答得很正确
宝宝----老师说错了，she said you are from China
我----。。。。。。
宝宝-----Audi is from Indian because she has black face and black hair, and
I have black hair too.
我------黑头发最漂亮了，妈妈最爱你的黑头发了。
可是我现在思考一个问题。我要如何让孩子有一个正确的自我意识，我有想到去找学校
的director，告诉她我不喜欢老师问这种问题。
可是上网查了一下，发现会不断地被这个问题问

所以是否应该及早地找到一个合适的方法，解决她将来的这个困惑。
大家有什么好的建议么？

当然不是现在让他俩演，毕竟年龄是大了，但是他俩演《倚天屠龙记》的那个时候的颜
值和年龄，如果演《楚乔传》，一定会演的很好的。
黎姿长得比赵丽颖简直漂亮不知道多少倍了，而且眼睛也更加有灵气，演技更不是一个
级别的，黎姿能把赵敏演活了，楚乔也是没有问题的，黎姿的各种表情都做的很好，才
不像是赵丽颖这样的蹩脚。
而且吴启华演的张无忌也有点正经的那种木讷的，到最后才开窍，如果吴启华来演高冷
腹黑的宇文玥也不是不可以哦，这一对是我非常喜欢的荧幕搭配，如果是他俩演的话，
我觉得《楚乔传》可能就会成为经典了，毕竟剧情还是有看点的，只不过这次拍的是剪
辑的有点乱了而已，还是这个剧组不行，从里到外都不行，编剧、演员和导演都不行。
我现在光是想象一下，就觉得黎姿和吴启华这对搭配可以演得好这两个角色的。
而且黎姿的长相也很有少女感，就算演年轻的楚乔也绝对没有问题，可惜现在这两个演
员的年龄都大了，已经拍不了这样的电视剧了，只能说明演得好的人都老了，但是新人
却不咋地。

我家闺女老师跟她说她有和snow white一样的beautiful black hair.所以娃对black

暴露年龄啦啊，
吴启华都老成神马样了。以前也不是最帅的。
我觉得杨洋演应该不错。天生面瘫脸冷公子，都不用装。
黎姿俺同意的。

我觉得这老师不对吧，如果是问祖籍，好象不应该是问这句话

ft...这个老师好像比较红脖子。也可能她想给小朋友灌输diversity的概念，可惜弄巧

我认为正确的说法是——

假如我看到别人从外面回来，也许他们逛街回来，也许逛公园回来，或者买菜回来，这
时候如果我想问别人从哪里来，该怎么问？是不是也是where are you from?

I think the right answer is- my family originally came from mainland China.
When strangers ask this questions, if I say I am from Chicago, they all look
confused.

这个老师的问题和更正都很奇怪。如果不是水平较低，词不达意的话，那就是见识水平
很局限了。

大人是可以这么回答。但是小孩子一般不会这么回答。。通常再美国出生的就直接回答
from（哪个美国城市）

We all have things that we can't stand but must routinely put up with. Here
are a few of mine: slow elevators, outrageous bank fees and being asked the
question, "Where are you from?"
Everybody hates the first two, but why am I so opposed to the last one?
For starters, I know the impatient looks that will follow when I answer with
where I live (Brooklyn) or where I grew up (Canada), or where I was born (
Switzerland).
That last one, by the way, really seems to throw people for a loop. (My
parents were graduate students in Zürich when I landed on this earth.) What
often follows next is that the person asking me the question either
congratulates me on speaking English well or, confused by my answers, looks
at me like I don't understand English. The next question, though, is always
the same:
But where are you really from?
Of course I know what they mean, and the people who ask me this (almost)
never have any real malice in mind. They're not saying I couldn't possibly
be American. Rather, something about me -- perhaps my name or the color of
my skin -- has lit their curiosity. Still, I've always resented the question
because it implies that I can only really and authentically be one thing,
the one thing, incidentally, that I had no choice in choosing and have no
power to change.
I don't want to be misunderstood. Like millions of other Americans, I, too,
have a hyphenated identity.
Left of the hyphen, I'm Egyptian, and a very proud one to boot. But that's
not all I am.
I'm also a writer, a professor, a Muslim, a German speaker, a passionate (
but terrible) singer, a lousy swimmer, a New Yorker, an Arab, the youngest
of three children, a drinker of way too much coffee, a lover of W.B. Yeats'
poetry, a hater of injustice, a husband, a frequent flyer, and, according to
my wife, a person in some serious denial that he's getting older.
The question "Where are you from?" may help others locate me, but it will
never describe me.

大人不让孩子觉得从中国来不如从芝加哥来，小朋友其实不会介意自己到底从哪儿来
。
俺们这里印度孩子中国孩子一大堆，都很自豪地说自己是印度人中国人。给白人小男
孩很大压力。终于回家问来他的祖先从爱尔兰来。从此自豪地说自己是爱尔兰人。

是不同，但是小朋友们经常混着说。我不觉得他们明白区别。
就说这个小男孩吧。他就是有一天冲过来特激动跟我说“xxx's mom, I'm from
Ireland。 Really！"。那时候他们也就4岁吧。

实际上这是个很普遍的问题,在中国, 也就是在咱们这儿, 也是常有人好奇问这个问题
象这样的就很不容易回答,后来我就琢磨了个办法, 尽量找一个最容易让对方满足好奇
心的
答案,虽然这个答案不一定准确,呵呵

我觉得这个问题得看上下文。幼儿园的小朋友基本上都住附近，多数是本地出生。老师
问的时候应该是想问他们的家庭originally来自哪里。我们到旅游的地方，有人问我们
来自哪里，显然是想知道我们现在的家住在哪里。圣诞节的时候在海边碰到一家人和我
们来自同一个城市，都是开车去的，还觉得挺亲切。
