我最近去了Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and National Gallary of Arts in DC.
印象很深的就是 claude monet的两幅油画,
La cathedrale de Rouen, le portail, temps gris
(Rouen Cathedral, the West Portal, Dull Weather)
La cathedrale de Rouen, le portail et la tour Saint-Romain,
plein soleil, harmonie bleue et or
(Rouen Cathedral, the West Portal and Saint-Romain Tower, Full Sunlight,
Harmony in Blue and Gold)
我肯定在这两个地方都见到了. 那么肯定至少一个是复制品了?
看来真的都在Musee d'Orsay,Paris?

莫奈曾画过好几幅卢昂大教堂。所以我想你所有见到的都是真迹。事实上
画家画好几幅同一题材的画是常有的事，如果算上草稿，那就更多了。

但莫奈的每一幅都是不同的。他追求这种光影时间
中细致的不同。大教堂应该有二十几幅，从1892到
1894。记得巴黎有六幅。
其实老觉得这样系列的作品放在一起可以有新的体会，
可是现在很难得还有这样的机会。莫奈在法国倒有
一个，两大间的巨型waterlily。

claude monet has 30 cathedrals. all named by the view and weather condition.
so the two you saw are two different ones in the same serial.
dc's national gallary of art has two of this serial. the one you meantioned
and another one which is also west facade but under sunlight.
using the same object for a serial of paintings, monet palyed more
intensively with light and shadow. by using different colors and reworking
layer by layer on the same image, different moods and expressions are
present
