I replaced the halogen DRL bulbs with LED ones and the CANBUS produces the "
bulb out" error.
Tried multiple capacitor based decoders and no luck so far. The closest one
suppresses the error while the car is started and running slow; however as
soon as I step on the gas, the error comes back - make me wonder if it's due
to the variation in the alternator voltage?

Anyone on this board has found a working capacitor based decoder for BMW
vehicles?

Don't fuck with cambus. For a light bulb not worth it.
The error is current flow error. Halogen more power more current. The
current flow is a build in parameter in cambus. led less power low current
flow then cambus thinks light bulb is dead. Add an appropriate resister into
led circuit. The LED manufacturer should have the correct current make up
circuit build in. For your case, apparently it is not correct.

Frankly your post has no valuable information.
My plan is simple - either find a working capacitor; or code the car
computer to bypass the bulb check for the DRL.

谁知道你的LED是哪家山寨企业生产的。
自身阻抗多少？通用件还是BMW专用件？如果后者，就自带欺骗线路了。那么就是这个
欺骗线路做的不对，要再改更麻烦。得加个可变电容或电阻自己调。
cambus 手持decoder，谁知到是否code全？你试下才知道。
这里是菜车论坛，到bimmerfest去看看。
我是用inpa 刷的，2008版软件找台WinXP电脑才能用。E66 七系前四年的乘客座带按
摩，按摩一启动乘客座的气囊就报警。得把气囊disable掉。搞了很久。你有能力就
inpa刷，还便宜。

重新买带电阻的led bulb，可以解决问题。否则要用软件把warning给消掉，那个比较
麻烦, 要买usb to obd2的线，还要装NSC Expert等等，还是重新买灯泡简单

All-in-one的LED灯泡首先塞不进E63狭小封闭的灯室，而且这种灯泡4000 lumen起步，
发热量很大，在封闭的灯室里不安全。电阻decoder，要大量发热，电容类的decoder发
热很小，但试了好几家的产品都不能清除error message。
估计NCS Expert是唯一可行方案。

对于理工男，用NCS Expert不会是问题；网上很多人说这个工具"super easy"。

昨天花了点时间搞定了NCSExpert，取消了DRL的cold and hot monitoring;顺带把讨厌
无比的legal disclaimer一并取消，又加了console的数字速度显示。
好像还有无数可以玩的设定，以后有空再弄吧。
