我在现在的实验室1年多，因为试验设计的问题，根本就做不出结果来。老板就把实验
停掉了，我当时积极要和老板谈，或者是换题，或者是换实验室。我以前有很多好文章
，根本就不愁找工作。但是老板就是不和我谈。每天没事可做了几个月，知道老板要找
我碴，每天都按时上下班，简直要疯掉了。结果有一天没去，老板的秘书就发邮件如下：

太恶心了。明天我去可能就是马上开掉了。有什么好建议和老板斗争一下？主要是怕不
好找下家。搞到学校去？学校的政策是3个月通知，立即开除要学校同意。除此之外，
有什么好建议？

Prepare to explain why you were absent on that particular day if that is
part of reasons that they fire you;
Prepare to leave the lab asap and look for references right now since you
mentioned you have fabulous publication record.

如果他要开你，就平静的跟他说请他按照规定给你三个月过渡期。
然后，联系你以前的老板，跟他说你要换实验室，需要推荐信。
然后，立即联系其他实验室。

The boss didn't have time to talk. But I E-mailed him days ago by saying
that I tried hard but things just didn't work out and I am so sorry for it.
I begged him to leave me some dignity if he let me go. From what I heard and
seen, he had security guard and police officer with the one who got fired.
For postdocs, immediate dismissal should be approved by the postdoc council
and I don't think the council will approve it just because i was one day
absent from work.
Anyway, leaving is the thing I w
