得了白血病的,如果不是化学诱导的,那么他的基因肯定就是有内在缺陷了。
用皮肤细胞弄出来的血细胞,不知道哪天还是会出问题的。
不过这个病就是死马当活马医的,所以应该很容易上临床。

My personal thought:
The transdifferentiation efficiency should be pretty low. Clinically you
must have millions of pure functinal cells for therapy. And the progeniter
cells usually cannot long term selfrenewal and propagate to the huge
population.So i guess iPS is still important.

in the iPS case,you can correct the gene-defects in the derived iPS cells
from patient fibroblast in vitro, and transfer back.
There has been a paper studying this, they got functional neurons from gene-
corrected iPS cells and inject to mouse brain. I dont recall exactly but the
principle should be this.

principle should be this.

我的意思不是说这些皮肤细胞已经有了突变,而是我觉得这些病人的血细胞可以有很大
的risk 会产生突变。
我不是搞白血病的,但是猜测这个白血病的突变一般不是zygotic的,而是体细胞突变。
那就说明病人体内有致突变原因存在。所以你用他本人的细胞恐怕不能完全治愈,而从
别人那里来的bone marrow就没有这个问题了。
有没有人研究过白血病人接受bone marrow transplant之后是不是会有比较多的其他突变?比如别的肿瘤。

移植之后不是要抑制免疫系统,那不就抑制了免疫系统排查其他突变细胞的能力了么?
