我们附近的ws的小公司，我就是不想relocate才全副精力投入到这个公司的intern 申
请中去的。
去年11月他们来我们学校career fair，然后11月底onsite interview,跟大boss（一个
白头发的很精干的白人老头，典型的生意人）谈的很happy，他还请我去附近一家咖啡
店喝研磨的那种咖啡。。。
然后12月初他们搞了一个challenge，要大家提交一个executable解决他们遇到的一个
算法问题。我乐和乐和的花了5天时间coding, debug, pack, document,成为第一个搞
定那个challenge的，我的程序在training set 和 blind test set上都通过了。在此
期间，我是直接和他们公司boston branch 的2个engineer直接沟通的，其中一个阿三
一直狂问算法细节，我有所保留没有全盘托出，因为这个算法是我一个捣鼓出来的。阿
三后来也就悻悻然。
搞完了这个，那个老头说impressed, amazed，想不到我这么短时间就能够解决他们搞
了大半年都搞不出来的project, 还给我一封“confi

最近在赶一个实验，做了CD4在脑部切片的IS，
信号很好，只是pattern很奇怪，大多数人show的staining是环状的，cytoplasm里表达
罗。
可是我的结果总是整个细胞都有信号，我用了两个不同公司的抗体，包括DAKO，用
confocal时
pinhole也设得很低，应该比核小多了。希望板上高手达人指教。谢谢。
另外，如果做cytokine和receptor的costaining，是不是假设所有cytokine都会bind到
receptor上呀？那这样的结果就是cytokine的staining包括了所有receptor的staining
呀。
恳请指教。

不要过早下结论啊。我也碰到这种情况。
结果是发OFFER的人度假去了。
回来了第一天就给了。

希望如此吧。。。不过这帮人的态度，我也不饱什么希望了。。。这都开学了，就算他
们给了offer，我选的课怎么搞阿。。。我还有TA。。。ft

你不如把那个算法问题贴上来(不要你的解决方案), 让洒家也看看你这5天到底是不是
值.
不是我刻薄, 只不过这个人哪, 不能太把自己当根葱.

不是葱的问题，是这个公司的rpwt，希望你弄清楚。
那个算法涉及到一些 statistical model fitting 应用在3d场景中的pattern
detection,估计贴出来大家也不会感兴趣。

Ok then, let me make myself more VELY explicit:
I do NOT believe that all the engineers of this company spent 6 months on
a problem and failed in getting a solution that you could figure out
within 5 days, or, let's say, we'll all come and worship you as the GOD.
Look, people are not stupid, and you 5 days of time/work is worth S.H.I.T.
Why don't you just fucking grow up and stop making a fuss out of it and
move the fucking on.

Hey, blaze,
I believe you are a reasonably good engineer, or maybe you are a student
looking for a job. Either way you do not have to be that harsh on another
student. I kind agree that op probably overrated his work a bit, but he/she
must have done something. I would appreciate your advice if I were op, but
your advice could be made more gentle so it helps people instead of hurt.

well, I totally believe it is very possible that all that WS company's
engineers spent 6 months and nobody worked out the solution: not because
they are stupid, but because they are not, and thus they don't want to spend
5 days, simple because the boss is so WS and is pissing everyone off. Very
reasonable, right?

我觉得你是对的，据我对他们公司软件的使用和了解，好像混日子的挺多的，那个软件
的gui做的很烂，而且import data之后，不能做一个特定的功能，否则整个程序会挂掉
。。。那个老头demo的时候就误操作了一次，还在叨唠:"oh that russian guy, oh
that russian guy... %&*(^#"
