其实来美国的女生大都不想找白男，还是愿意找国男的。
愿意找白男的是极少数。
否则的话，国女找白男易如反掌，要找都能找到，全部都嫁白男了。

Got a chance tomorrow to meet Lee with two other postdocs...I got some
questions for him over the years but like to survey what you folks might
like to ask him if any...For me, he is one of the very few who have had some
"marginal" but important influence on my way of science/career...but I have
yet had chance to meet in person

So nobody is interested in his enterpreneurship, systems biology, P4
medicine stuff?

ISB didn't really turn out as he planned, but is successful in many measures
, probably not to the same extend as Broad Institute. If you think about it,
Broad is doing everything ISB set off to do, only better.
Both Abersold and Aderem have moved on. Now that systems biology and
personalized medicine are everywhere in the academic journals, Hood has done
his part.
I'm not sure how much scientific details he care for now. He is nonetheless
an interesting person to talk to. If I talk to him next, I would seek career
advice, funding strategy, hot opportunities etc.

Thanks...I am pretty much on the same page; Besides career advice, one other thing I
am keen to ask is his vision on how/the roadmaps we could transition our
systems and move on with P4 medicine....As far as I see, it could be an
unsurpassable barrier in the near future(20ys or even longer) although
academically wise, I think I am all for P4 medicine and the systems biology
stuff...the overall state of the art...what's doable/achievable in the next
decade and what might have to be long-term...Another specific project i like
his comments is the UK's project and his trial with the little EU country
and whether any such possibility in China as he sees...

Just finished chatting with him, very approachable and we had a very good
time chatting with each other and I am looking forward to more interaction/
mentorship with/from him in the future....Didn't ask these but lots about
his vision of P4 medicine and systems biology in China...
