出国6年好像是要被注销。但是我忘记了是注销身份证还是什么的。反正和户口差不多

我2001年出国，当初学校的相关单位就告诉我， 出国读书的人户口都注销了。如果将
来回国了，再激活。
你现在还不知道你没有户口了？？哈哈
我们现在国内的只有档案了，我的档案还在学校。

我2001年出国，当初学校的相关单位就告诉我， 出国读书的人户口都注销了。如果将
来回国了，再激活。
你现在还不知道你没有户口了？？哈哈
我们现在国内的只有档案了，我的档案还在学校。

now they allow you to "restore" your 户口, but you need to find out your 档
案 and the record of your previous 户口. You'll also need a letter from your
previous employer (e.g. University).
The good thing is that, once your restore your "facebook", you qualify for
applying for an ID card so that you don't have to carry your passport all
the time.

我一直有户口，因为我家在北京，且在北京上学，所以没迁过户口

我出国那会直接把户口注销了，说回来再上。我在火星上很多年了。

因为你的户口是在学校啊,你出国了,就和学校没关系了,学校当然要把你的户口注销了.
如果你的户口在家里,就算你出去一百年,你还是这家的人,怎么需要注销?

even with a Beijing HUKOU, at the time we went to the U.S. the school
required we cancel our KUKOU and pay lots of RMB to get our passport. :(
Or at least, my school required. Myself and my friends with Beijing HUKOU
had to cancel it.

你应该毕业的时候就把户口转回家里去.不过这种学校真是很无聊,一般学校是不给本地
的学生转户口的.

What's the definition for 回来? If I just come back for a short visit, does
it count as 回来? or it has to be some kind of long-term?
