K99/R00申请条件改变,博士后年限从5年缩减为4年,
但是今年没有那么严格,好像NIH还是接受已经做了5年博后的申请人

NEW RULES FOR K99/R00 SUBMISSIONS
K99/R00 submissions rules have reducing the application window from 5 to 4
years of postdoctoral research training experience. As of February 12, 2014
and beyond. All applications to the reissued K99/R00 FOA, both new (-01) and
resubmission (-A1) must conform to the eligibility criteria outlined in the
reissued FOA, namely no more than 4 years of postdoctoral research

JUDGE POSTBAC POSTER DAY
Don't forget to register for to Judge Postbac Poster Day on May 1. This is

Join MOM-DAD-DOCS on April 9 at noon in Wilson Hall (Building 1) to chat
about planning a career as a parent. Register
(MOM-DAD-DOCS is an informal mentoring program for trainees in the
intramural research program with children (moms and dads both welcome). MOM-
DAD-DOCS seeks to provide mentorship, support, and networking to fellows, in
the form of small mentoring groups and other programs.)
MAC Offers Junior Faculty and Postdoc Career Development Workshop Whether
you're looking to establish your academic career at a research-intensive,
community college or teaching institution or know someone who is, please
share the news: The ASCB Minorities Affairs Committee (MAC) is accepting
applications for the ASCB MAC 7th Annual Junior Faculty and Postdoctoral
Fellows Career Development Workshop. The Chicago, IL workshop is scheduled
for June 15-16, 2013. Applications are due May 3, 2013.The workshop is open
to postdoctoral fellows and junior level faculty. A limited number of travel
awards are available for members of underrepresented groups in the sciences
, members of disadvantaged populations, and faculty (regardless of ethnicity
) at minority- serving institutions.For more information, click here www.
