It really doesn't matter if it is chemical modification or biological
modification. Some scientist in the field believe a lot of acetylation
modification is through direct chemical transfer of Acetyl-CoA without the
help of HAT espeically in organelle enviroment favoring nucleophilic
addition.
As far as crotonyl-modification. My friesd published in a good journal
stating HDAC3 is the de-crotonylase...my lab results are exactly opposite.
HDAC1 and HDAC2 have more activities against cortonyl-lysine in my hand (hey
, I didn't review that paper, don't blame me). In addition, the Kcat is
very low compare to acetylation substrate, so I don't know if it is really
biologically relevent.

按照这个做法, 蛋白修饰是很多很多了, 就像蛋白解构, 每个蛋白都有解构, 也是重要

估计是Zhao 实验室找到的蛋白酶? 其实你发现的和别人发现的有分歧,怎么办? 是实验
室系统的问题,
我觉得实验材料问题很大吧, 化学蛋白组实验室对蛋白样品的质量很重视,但是对生物
材料的质量和来源并不重视. 所以他们的发现能不能在其他生物系统中重复是关键, 重
复不出来的估计就是垃圾了, 至于能不能算造假,不知道.
