发了一个自认为nice教授，结果被拒，不过人家起码立马发email回复我了，也不错了。
又发一个自认为特别tough的教授，结果人家同意了，不过跟我说：“stay away from
the word novel.”，而且还跟我一个模板，是他以前给另外一个中国人写的推荐信，
让我照样子写。我看了信，好像没什么赞扬的话阿。

Loan $ >=600K, FICO>=740, LTV<=80% for SFH or 75% for Condo, primary
residence.
There is no point, no fee for refinance but there is fee for purchase loan.
Rate change is subject to loan amount, impound and other conditions.

There is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls. We've all heard
about people having Guts or Balls. But do you really know the difference
between them?
In an effort to keep you informed, here are the definitions:
GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met
by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask: 'Are you still
cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?'
BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of
perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt
and having the Balls to say: 'You're next, Chubby.'
I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions.
Medically, speaking there is No difference in the outcome.
Both result in death.

如题，听说有老板就给5年钱，时间一到立马断粮，可有的时候project 的 idea 就有
问题，能白白耽误一两年时间。博士生待遇本来就很低，很难攒到钱，如果老板不给钱
了能怎么办？立马quit出去打工？

所以要早早准备
其实理论上五年是一个比较合理的科学寿命，通过这五年，你可以了解自己到底
适不适合做科研，并决定自己的职业方向了

这两个都不要，再找找，把你的代表作发过去让人家看，找找普通教授，不要尽找巨牛
，现在推荐信没那么重要了，普通正教授差不多了

The word "novel" is banned in grant writing.
But this is for green card. Remind him that.
And most Chinese are too shy to advertise themselves. Don't follow their steps.
