Location: Austin, Texas
Description:
At LifeSize Communications, A Division of Logitech, we are

As a Camera Engineering Intern, you will explore multiple
facets of product development as you live through the hardware and software
product development life cycles. You will work on our state-of-the-art
digital video cameras specially designed for high-definition video
conferencing systems, with high resolution (1080p and 720p) and high frame
rate (60fps and 30fps), and rich features. You will perform:
• Characterize the camera components (lens, sensor, hardware)
• Characerize the camera performance
• Test camera software
• Camera analysis and problem solving
• Camera Benchmarking
• Assisting LifeSize engineers for algorithm development and
improvement
Additionally, you will work closely with our hardware and software engineers
to resolve issues.
In this internship, you will gain experience working with functional
hardware and software. More importantly you will think independently about
discovering and proposing solutions to product issues.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing Electrical or Computer or related degrees with at least
three years of completion of studies at an accredited college/university
• Have understanding of camera and/or digital image processing is a
big plus
• Strong C/C++ programming skill is highly preferred
• Python programming is a plus
• Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
