One biggest difference -- NO FEE so if you can load full $500, then Discover
must be losing money if they don't stop this card from loading at walmart,
and OD does not earn either. And how long can Chase charges the visa/master
surcharge on OD when OD does not
profit?
Also. people at flyertalk now says cash only at OD, or $4.95 fee, etc, which
were not true in my case.

loading problems depending where you lived. So try a small amount before
going big.

Looks like the transaction went through but was instantly reversed. Register
printed out a small mini-receipt with a bunch of numbers on it. I was able
to use both HI cards for purchasing MO's at the customer service counter,
however. Whew! Thinking that might be the last I dabble with these. Not
worth the headache.
Picked up some ice cream on the way home to make myself feel better about
the whole thing!

I think it depends where you live, some location or state just can't load
HIGC into BB, but you still can use HIGC to buy MO.

week.I have not heard a single person in my area have successfully loaded

2 using Sapphire Preferred, no fees.
How to use money orders? deposit to own checking account? If MO is easy
and safe (from IRS/FBI) to become cash, then I can buy 10 or 20 HIGC like
you guys. Right now I only buy the max I can load to BB within next 2 days.

finally decided to pull the plug today.
the 3 WM kiosks that I went to today stopped MO's. I am not sure if these
are related.
I am more amazed at the timing of this getting out, did someone know already
that HIGC is going to close this loop and decided to let this out a few
days before? Never know!!
