这里的高人都很忙吗？抽空给个建议！谢了～

劳驾过来人给看看
GMAT750, 北航本科cs, 北美2-3流的学校拿了2个master (CS + statistics），总GPA>
3.9.
打算申请2010年的商院PHD. 目前工作2年，到那时候就是4年，non-profit的senior
statistician. 主要是用SAS建模。编程背景比较强。
GMAT刚考的，以后想当faculty, 干了master的工作觉得没意思。我口语不错，愿意写
文章。这种背景能申请什么样的商学院， U of Florida 有戏吗？
还有商学院的faculty女的为什么那么少，女生读商科phd好找工作吗？？我是想走
finance, 不过要是竞争激烈的话，我也可以做其他方向，好像decision science比较
适合我的背景。大家怎么想？？

You get a chance. But should try schools like Duke and Wash U as well.

我觉得你背景很好啊 U of Florida很强吗？
要我有这样的背景
说不定马上就申了
为什么等那么多年?

Thanks! I am going to have my first baby next year, and nobody could give a
hand....
I live at FL now. What universities would you be thinking about if you were
me?

You have a pretty strong background. If you want to stay close to Florida,
you can consider applying for University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, even
Georgia State University or University of South Carolina (USC). USC has a
pretty strong "International" program. You can apply for their Ph.D. in
International Finance.

finance or management science/operations should be your choice based on your
interests, NOT how easy to get in. you might want to consider MIS and
Marketing as well. salary wise, in general finance > marketin, MIS >
operations
female faculties in bschool are rare and very much needed. but ph.d and
tenure track life is tough, for you and your family.
try to talk to some schools' faculties before you apply.
