I saw quite a lot debates about hedge fund. Here is some thoughts I have after
5 years of experience in a major HF.
1) The golden time for HF is over. When I entered the industry there's only
around 3000 funds, now how many? over 11000. To give you a further idea of
this bubble: pretty much all my friends, no matter what their backgrouds are,
are working in HFs. There's simplely too many talents in this industry that in
the end nobody can easily beat others. Over the years I heard and interviewe
