We are pretty much alike. But I am nevering changing my job. My boss now pay
me almost dobule my initial salary. But I still feel underpaid. I earned
him 10-20X of my salary. I also want to startup a consulting firm in few
years after I get some connections and manager experience.

i haven't changed job either; i only got 1.5 of my original salary so far.
but i'm not thinking about it too much. GC is the most important thing now.
hehe.

i submitted my 140/485 last nov, now 140 approved after $1000 for pp, who
knows 485 ...... been waiting for this stupid card for four years, four
golden years of my life ......

这个不同公司不一样把.有的比项目经理还要低,有的是股东.
还是看看实际做什么事情,是小混混,小头目,还是小老板.不要
为这个虚无的头衔伤脑筋.

senior is the "problem solver"; pm has to go to seniors when encountering
difficult problems. some people just don't like spend time in meetings,
telephone calls, and golf.
i like public relation things, but have to do technical stuff now. :(
different career path; usually salary wise pm is higher, but he can't live
without seniors.

其实我现在是pm, pe, cad, everything. 要是有个人帮我干活我什么都不干就好了，
呵呵。其实现在是有两个认帮我干活可是我自己也得干活。：（
你做久了就知道了千篇一律的东西真是应该交给entry level的我来指导呵呵。

下到爬屋顶量beam，钻地下室量foundation。
有个drafter偶尔帮我画图，
可我得花两倍时间来纠正他画好的图。。。
偶简直就是个打杂的。。

读本科时，大家就戏称，土木是又土又木。看来有一定道理。：）尤其是搞结构，没耐
心不行啊。每次有限元建模，都是极耐心细致的数格子。
