I am listening to Wieniawski's violin concertos Nos.1&2,
and legende in G minor played by Gil Shaham.
They are really good masterpieces,
fully express the composer's strong emotion.
When Wieniawski was in london in 1859 he met and fell in
love with Isabella hampton, a niece of the IRish pianist
and composer George Osborne; but when her father dismissed
his proposal of marriage he returned to his rooms in despair
and composed the Legende in G minor. The next day, so the
